اجتمع مجلس الوزراء يوم الخميس 08 يونيو 2017 تحت رئاسة صاحب الفخامة السيد محمد ولد عبد العزيز، رئيس الجمهورية. وقد درس المجلس وصادق على مشروع قانون يلغي ويحل محل القانون رقم 66-145 بتاريخ 21 يوليو 1966 المنشئ لمدونة الجمارك.
قال الزعيم الأرتري إسياس أفورقي ، إن حكومة بلاده مختلفة تماما عن حكومة الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد عبد العزيز الذى قطع علاقاته مع قطر لمجرد ان طلبت منه دول خليجية ذلك -حسب ما ورد فى بعض الصحف الدولية.

أعلن مصدر حكومي رسمي تأجيل الاستفتاء الذي كان من المقرر إجراؤه منتصف يوليو القادم بحوالي 20 يوما، حيث أكد الوزير محمد الأمين ولد الشيخ الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة أن الاستفتاء سينظم يوم 5 أغشت.وأضاف ولد الشيخ أن المجلس صادق على مشروع مرسوم يقضي بتأجيل الاستفتاء واستدعاء هيئة الناخبين 5 أغش
انطلقت صباح اليوم الأربعاء على عموم التراب الوطني امتحانات شهادة الدروس الإعدادية في 235 مركزا، منها 55 في نواكشوط ومركزا واحدا في بانجول بغامبيا وبمشاركة 57199 مترشحا بينهم 31608 بنتا أي نسبة 26ر55% و 14624 مترشا حرا و 13621 مترشحا من المدارس الخصوصية.
