وقال ولد صمبه، في تدوينة له على صفحته في الموقع الاجتماعي مانصه:

"الزعيم لا ينبغي أن يكون أناني ولا جشعا، لا يحب إلا نفسه.

ولا ينبغي أن يكون متناقضا، يطالب بحرية التعبير وبالتناوب على السلطة وهو يخالف كل ذلك وتسييره دكتاتوري أناني. مؤتمر الحزب معطل منذو ستة عشرة والمؤسساتية منعدمة في الحزب.

خدعنا في الرجل ولما تقربنا منه فإذا به نقيض كل ما ظنناه فيه من قيم.
