أجرى المنتخب الموريتاني مساء الأحد أول حصة تدريبية له في العاصمة بانجي، تحضيرا للقاء مضيفه أفريقيا الوسطى ضمن الجولة 6 (الأخيرة)، من التصفيات المؤهلة لكأس أمم أفريقيا بالكاميرون.

وكتب الاتحاد الموريتاني لكرة القدم على صفحته الرسمية: "بعد سفر طويل، المرابطون يعودون للتدريبات الجماعية في بانجي".
 
ويحتاج المنتخب الموريتاني للفوز على أفريقيا الوسطى لضمان التأهل مباشرة دون النظر إلى نتيجة المباراة الأخرى في المجموعة الخامسة بين المغرب وبوروندي.
 
ويمتلك منتخب موريتانيا 6 نقاط يحتل بها وصافة المجموعة الخامسة خلف منتخب المغرب، ويأتي منتخب بوروندي ثالثا (5 نقاط)، وأفريقيا الوسطى الأخير (4 نقاط).
