تقرير أمريكي: تراجع نفوذ فرنسا في موريتانيا

أكدت نتائج تحقيق معمق نُشر مؤخرًا في تقرير سنوي لمعهد الدراسات الأمريكية الشهير “The Atlantic Council” أن النفوذ الفرنسي في موريتانيا قد انخفض بشكل كبير في السنوات الأخيرة، لصالح الصين التي توسع نفوذها كثيرا في المنطقة

وأشار التقرير، خلال متابعته لأكثر دول العالم تأثيرا في عام 2020، إلى أن فرنسا، بخلاف تراجع نفوذها في موريتانيا ، تحافظ على علاقاتها التاريخية ونفوذها القوي وعلاقاتها الجيدة مع جارتها الشمالية المملكة المغربية، على مدى العقدين الماضيين حتى الآن، كما هو الحال كذلك في تونس.

ويضيف التقرير أن تحولات كبيرة حدثت في موريتانيا على مدى العقدين الماضيين، حيث نما نفوذ الصين، التي تبعد آلاف الأميال، أكثر من فرنسا المستعمر السابق.

أما بالنسبة للجزائر، يوضح التقرير كيف انتقلت الجزائر من دائرة النفوذ الفرنسي عام 2000 إلى دائرة النفوذ الروسي عام 2020.

وقد تأسس معهد The Atlantic Council في عام 1961، وهو مؤسسة دراسات مؤثرة وغير حكومية، توفر للسياسيين ورجال الأعمال والمفكرين في جميع أنحاء العالم بيانات إحصائية في الشؤون الدولية.

وتدير المؤسسة عشرات المراكز الإقليمية وبرامج وظيفية تتعلق بالأمن الدولي والازدهار الاقتصادي العالمي، ويقع مقرها الرئيسي في واشنطن بالولايات المتحدة.
