منظمة الصحة العالمية الجرعة "التنشيطية" الثالثة "ليست رفاهية"

أكدت منظمة الصحة العالمية، اليوم الاثنين، أن الجرعة التنشيطية الثالثة من لقاحات الوقاية من فيروس كورونا هي وسيلة لحماية الأكثر عرضة للخطر من المرض و"ليست رفاهية".

ووفقا لوكالة "رويترز"، قال هانز كلوج المدير الإقليمي لمنظمة الصحة العالمية في أوروبا، في إفادة صحفية، إن "جرعة ثالثة تنشيطية من اللقاحات ليست رفاهية وليست مأخوذة من شخص آخر لا يزال ينتظر جرعته الأولى. إنها بالأساس وسيلة للحفاظ على حماية الأكثر عرضة للخطر من المرض".

وأضاف أن "المزيد من الدراسات تظهر أن جرعة ثالثة تحافظ على سلامة الأشخاص المعرضين للخطر وهذا ما يحدث في الكثير من البلدان في منطقتنا".

وحث كلوج الدول الأوروبية التي لديها فائض من اللقاحات على مشاركتها مع الدول الأخرى خاصة بلدان أوروبا الشرقية وإفريقيا.

وكانت الصحة العالمية قد قالت هذا الشهر إن البيانات لا تشير إلى حاجة ماسة لجرعات تنشيطية إضافية، مشيرة إلى أن منح المزيد من الجرعات لمن تلقوا لقاحات بالفعل سيزيد من عدم المساواة الكبيرة أصلاً بين الدول الغنية والفقيرة فيما يتعلق بالحماية من المرض.

وأعربت منظمة الصحة العالمية، اليوم الاثنين، عن خشيتها من أن يودي فيروس كورونا بحياة 236 ألف شخص آخر في أوروبا بحلول ديسمبر المقبل.

وقالت الصحة العالمية إنها قلقة حيال ركود معدّلات التطعيم والعدد المنخفض للملقّحين في الدول الأفقر.

وقال مدير  منظمة الصحة العالمية في أوروبا :"ارتفع عدد الوفيات بنسبة 11 في المئة في المنطقة الأسبوع الماضي -- ويشير توقع يمكن الوثوق به إلى احتمال وفاة 236 ألف شخص في أوروبا بحلول 1 ديسمبر"، مضيفا أن "الركود في تلقي اللقاحات في منطقتنا يمثّل مصدر قلق جديا".

كما أعلنت منظمة الصحة العالمية في أوروبا، تباطؤ عمليات التلقيح ضد كورونا على مدار الأسابيع الـ 6 الأخيرة.

وقالت الصحة العالمية في أوروبا: "نواجه تحدي عدم إنتاج كميات كبيرة من اللقاحات والامتناع عن تلقيها".

وأشارت الصحة العالمية إلى أنه من  

خلال هذه الفترة، ازدياد الضغط على المستشفيات وارتفاعا في وفيات كورونا.
