دراسة: الشخير المستمر علامة على السكري

أشارت دراسة تشيكية أعدها المعهد الصحي للأبحاث في العاصمة براغ، إلى أن الشخير المستمر يمكن أن يكون مؤشرا على إصابة صاحبه بمرض السكري.

وقالت الدراسة إن 40% من الرجال مقابل 25% من النساء مصابون بهذا المرض في حين تصل نسبة حالات الشخير عند الرجال إلى 70% وترتبط بالأشخاص الذين يعانون من الوزن الزائد.

ونبهت الدراسة إلى أن الشخير إذا ما اقترن بأعراض مثل توقف التنفس للحظات فإن هذه الحالة ترتبط أيضا بارتفاع ضغط الدم وفي بعض الحالات تصيب بالجلطة القلبية ومن الأفضل مراجعة الطبيب دون تردد.
