نداء دولي لمساعدة لاجئى مخيم "امبرة" بموريتانيا

وجهت ثلاث وكالات للأمم المتحدة تعمل في المجال الإنساني نداء إلى المانحين لجمع تبرعات إنسانية لتقديم المساعدة الضرورية لنحو 50 ألف لاجئ مالي يقيمون بمخيم امبيرة  شرقي موريتانيا.
 
وحذر بيان مشترك لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسيف)، ومكتب مفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين وبرنامج الأغذية العالمي من أن التمويل الحالي يغطي الحاجيات فقط حتى شهر أبريل المقبل.

 وتؤمن الوكالات الثلاثة المساعدة للاجئين الماليين الذين فروا من النزاع في شمال بلدهم منذ سنة 2012، و تعتمد على المساعدات الخارجية لتلبية احتياجاتهم.

 وتعمل اليونيسيف على ضمان الحصول على الخدمات الاجتماعية الأساسية الجيدة من تغذية ورعاية صحية وتعليم بهذا المخيم الذي يضم نحو 36 ألف طفل.

 من جانبها، تقدم المفوضية السامية لشؤون اللاجئين حماية للاجئين، وتضمن الحصول على التعليم الأساسي والرعاية الصحية والولوج إلى السكن والمياه. كما تقدم فصول محو الأمية والتكوين المهني للبالغين.
 
ويوزع برنامج الأغذية العالمي المواد الغذائية شهريا على جميع اللاجئين والمكملات الغذائية إلى النساء الحوامل والمرضعات والأطفال دون سن الخامسة لعلاج والحد من سوء التغذية.
