قتل 5 أشخاص حتى الآن.. تنزانيا تكشف عن مرض غامض

أعلنت وزارة الصحة في تنزانيا، أمس الخميس، عن اكتشاف مرض غامض في البلاد، خلف 5 حالات وفاة.
وحسب الوزارة فإن 7 أشخاص ظهرت عليهم أعراض المرض غير المعروف حتى الآن، وتتعلق الأعراض بالحمى والقيء وقصور كلوي.
واكتشف المرض في منطقة كاجيرا، ودعت السلطات السكان إلى تجنب مخالطة المصابين.
وقالت الوزارة إنها بدأت التحقيق لمعرفة أسباب المرضى وطبيعته، وأخذت عينات من المرضى والأشخاص الذين توفوا لتحديد طبيعة المرض.
ويأتي إعلان السلطات الصحية في تنزانيا، بعد أشهر من انتشار فيروس الإيبولا في أوغندا المجاورة، والذي قتل أزيد من 50 شخصا، قبل أن تعلن نهاية انتشاره يناير الماضي.
ولم تربط بعد السلطات الصحية، ولا منظمة الصحة العالمية، بين اكتشاف المرض الغامض وفيرو الإيبولا القاتل.
وكانت تنزانيا أعلنت العام الماضي اكتشافها مرضا غامضا، انتشر في البلاد، وقتل 3 أشخاص، واصاب العشرات.
وكشفت السلطات عن أن المرض هو داء البريمات، وينتشر عبر بول الحيوانات، وتسبب الحالات الخطيرة منه في الوفاة.
