أكجوجت أنفو تنشر لمحة عن الجنرال عبد الرحمن تشياني رئيس المجلس الانتقالي الجديد في النيجر

أعلن الجنرال عبد الرحمن تشياني اليوم الجمعة، تسميته رئيسا للمجلس الانتقالي في النيجر، بعد الإطاحة بالرئيس محمد بازوم، في انقلاب عسكري قاده الأربعاء الماضي.

جاء ذلك خلال خطاب ألقاه عبر التلفزيون الرسمي، بعد انتهاء المفاوضات بين الحرس الرئاسي والقوات المسلحة.

من هو تشياني؟

يوصف الجنرال تشياني الذي ينحدر من منطقة تيلابيري غرب البلاد، بالمثير للجدل داخل الجيش النيجري.

-تمت ترقيته تحت رئاسة الرئيس السابق محمدو يوسفو.

خلال عام 2015، تولى قيادة الحرس الرئاسي، حتى الانقلاب الذي قاده ضد بازوم.

خلال شهر مارس من عام 2021، أحبط محاولات انقلابية قام بها بعض المنتمين لصفوف الجيش، قبل أيام من تنصيب الرئيس محمد بازوم.

ونجح تشياني خريج المدرسة العسكرية في بوركينا فاسو، في صد الهجوم، وإلقاء القبض على العناصر المشتركة في المحاولة لانقلابية.

كما سبق له وأن أحبط محاولة انقلابية عام 2015.

لكن صباح الأربعاء الموافق لـ26 من شهر يوليو عام 2023، احتجز الرئيس محمد بازوم داخل القصر الرئاسي، قبل أن يعلن عن الإطاحة به بعد ساعات.

وأرجعت بعض المصادر المحلية أسباب الانقلاب، إلى أن الرئيس محمد بازوم، كان ينوي إقالة الجنرال عمر تشياني، قبل أسابيع.

وأوضحت أن الجنرال عمر تشياني، كان مقربا من الرئيس السابق محمد إيسوفو الذي تشير بعض المصادر، إلى أنه يدير الدولة بطريقة غير مباشرة، عبر ولاء جنرالاته السابقين.

وقالت إن بازوم كان ينوي تغيير بعض رموز النظام السابق، الأمر الذي أحدث خلافات مع إيسوفو.
