دراسة: 5% من المناطق الساحلية الموريتانية يمكن أن تنتج 12 مليون طن من الهيدروجين الأخضر سنويا

أوصت دراسة أعدها مكتب دولي بتخصيص 5% من المناطق الساحلية في موريتانيا لإنتاج طاقة الرياح والطاقة الشمسية، لإنتاج 12 مليون طن من الهيدروجين الأخضر سنويًا. 

وتوصلت الدراسة التي أعدها مكتب الخبرة والاستشارات AFRY، إلى أن موريتانيا يمكن أن تحصل على 1.5% من سوق الهيدروجين العالمي، وحوالي 1% من سوق الصلب الأخضر العالمي بحلول عام 2050. 

وتوقعت الدراسة إمكانية إنتاج 8.1 مليون طن من الهيدروجين باستغلال الموارد المتوفرة من الغاز الطبيعي.

وأشارت الدراسة إلى أهمية تطوير البنية التحتية اللازمة لدعم الصناعة الناشئة، فضلا عن وضع الأطر القانونية المناسبة لتنظيم وتعزيز قطاع الهيدروجين منخفض الكربون.
