إحباط محاولة انقلابية في بنين واعتقال قائد الحرس الجمهوري

أكدت السلطات في بنين تمكنها من إحباط محاولة انقلابية، واعتقال عدة شخصيات من ضمهم قائد الحرس الجمهوري الملكف بحماية الرئيس.

وقالت السلطات البنينية، إن التحقيقات جارية لتحديد جميع المتورطين في المحاولة الانتقلابية، التي كان من المقرر تنفيذها في ال27 من سبتمبر الجاري.

ونسبت وسائل إعلام للمدعي العام لمحكمة الجرائم الاقتصادية والإرهاب في بنين، القول إن "قائد الحرس الجمهوري المكلف بأمن رئيس الدولة قد تم استدراجه من قبل الوزير أوزوالد هوميكي لصالحه  ولمصلحة رجل الأعمال أوليفيي بوكو من أجل تنفيذ انقلاب بالقوة في يوم 27 سبتمبر الجاري"
