الغذاء العالمي: نحتاج إلى 620 مليون دولار لمواصلة دعم اللاجئين في موريتانيا

قال برنامج الغذاء العالمي التابع للأمم المتحدة، إنه بحاجة إلى 620 مليون دولار لمواصلة دعم اللاجئين في موريتانيا وتشاد والأشخاص الذين يعانون من انعدام الأمن الغذائي في بوركينا فاسو ومالي والنيجر ونيجيريا.

وأشار البرنامج في بيان صادر عنه إلى أنه سيوقف المساعدات الغذائية لأكثر من مليوني شخص في عدة دول، من بينها موريتانيا، ابتداء الشهر المقبل إذا لم يتوفر تمويل عاجل لسد العجز.

وأردف البرنامج أن “الانكماش العالمي للمساعدات الخارجية يشكل تهديداً كبيراً لعملياتنا في غرب أفريقيا”.
