السعودية ترفض طلب موريتانيا زيادة حصتها من الحجاج

رفضت المملكة العربية السعودية طلبا تقدمت به موريتانيا لزيادة حصتها السنوية من الحجاج، إلى 5000 حاج، وذلك اعتمادا على عدد السكان وفق آخر إحصاء للسكان والمساكن، والذي أجري نهاية 2023 وبداية 2024.

وأكدت مصادر رسمية لوكالة الأخبار المستقلة، أن السلطات الموريتانية راسلت نظيرتها السعودية، وأبدت رغبتها في زيادة الحصة إلى 5000 حاج، بعد أن وصل عدد سكان البلاد إلى 4.9 مليون نسمة وفق آخر إحصاء عام.

وتمنح السعودية لموريتانيا 3500 حاج سنويا، فيما سعت موريتانيا لزيادة حصتها بناء على المعيار المعتمد من السعودية بمنح حاج واحد من كل ألف مواطن.

 

ووقعت موريتانيا والسعودية يوم 12 يناير الماضي اتفاقية حول تنظيم موسم الحج 1446هـ / 2025 م، وذلك بهدف تفادي ما تعرض له حجاج موريتانيا العام الماضي.
