مسؤول أممي: جنوب السودان على شفا حرب أهلية جديدة

حذر رئيس بعثة الأمم المتحدة في جنوب السودان نيكولاس هايسوم، من انزلاق البلد مجددا نحو حرب أهلية بعد أن تسبّبت المواجهات شمال شرقي البلاد بنزوح عشرات الآلاف.

وقال المسؤول الأممي في تصريحات صحفية إن عدّة سفارات غربية عرضت الوساطة لتفادي تدهور الوضع أكثر.

ومنذ نهاية الشهر الماضي، أدت أعمال العنف إلى نزوح 50 ألف شخص، من بينهم 10 آلاف عبروا الحدود باتجاه إثيوبيا، وفقا لمكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية (أوتشا) في جنوب السودان.

وتشهد مقاطعة الناصر في ولاية أعالي النيل معارك بين قوات موالية للرئيس سلفاكير ميارديت وما يعرف بمجموعة “الجيش الأبيض” التابعة لنائبه الأول رياك مشار، ما يهدد بتقويض اتفاق تقاسم هش للسلطة.
