كوسموس تعلن نقل أول شحنة غاز من حقل "آحميم" الكبير

أعلنت شركة "كوسموس إنيرجي"، اليوم الخميس، نقل أول شحنة من الغاز الطبيعي المسال من حقل "آحميم” الكبير إلى ناقلة تمهيداً لتصديرها.

وقالت الشركة إن الشحنة الأولى بلغت نحو 174 ألف متر مكعب من الغاز الطبيعي المسال.

وأضافت الشركة أن ناقلة غاز طبيعي مسال أخرى تنتظر حالياً بالقرب من المحطة الرئيسية استعدادًا لنقل الشحنة الثانية.

وأوضحت الشركة أن الإعلان عن تصدير أول شحنة يأتي في أعقاب أول إنتاج للغاز في أواخر عام 2024 وأول إنتاج للغاز الطبيعي المسال في فبراير.

وجاء في بيان الشركة: "يتزامن تحميل أول شحنة مع بدء شركة كوزموس وشركائها في تحقيق الإيرادات، وهو إنجاز رئيسي آخر للمشروع"، مضيفة: "تبلغ سعة ناقلة الغاز الطبيعي المسال العائمة 2.7 مليون طن سنويًا".

وقال رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي للشركة أندرو جي. إنجليسو: إن "شحنة الغاز الطبيعي المسال الأولى تمثل إنجازًا مهمًا، مما يتيح لموريتانيا والسنغال أن تصبحا دولتين مصدرتين للغاز من خلال هذا المشروع ذي الأهمية الاستراتيجية الوطنية.

وأضاف أنجليسو: "نواصل العمل مع شركات بي بي، وإس إم إتش، وبتروسن لتفعيل المشروع بكامل طاقته بأمان، بالإضافة إلى تنفيذ توسعة تستفيد من البنية التحتية المُجهزة لهذه المرحلة الأولية".
