ولد الذهبي: إصلاحات البنك مكنت موريتانيا من السيطرة على التضخم

أكد محافظ البنك المركزي الموريتاني، محمد الأمين ولد الذهبي، أن موريتانيا نجحت في إدارة التضخم بفعالية، ما يعكس نجاح الإصلاحات الاقتصادية التي تم تنفيذها مؤخراً.

جاء ذلك خلال مشاركته، أمس الاثنين، في ملتقى رفيع المستوى لعرض آفاق الاقتصاد الموريتاني وتقديم التقرير السنوي لصندوق النقد الدولي حول منطقة شمال إفريقيا والشرق الأوسط.

وأوضح المحافظ أن الاقتصاد الوطني شهد نمواً أقوى من المتوقع خلال عام 2024، مشيرا إلى أن تطور القطاع المالي كان نتيجة مباشرة للإصلاحات التي استهدفت تحسين الحوكمة وتنظيم السوق.

وأشار ولد الذهبي إلى جملة من الإصلاحات التي أطلقها البنك المركزي، من بينها تحديث السياسات النقدية وسعر الصرف، وتطوير سوق ما بين البنوك، وتعزيز الرقابة المصرفية.
