شكاوى محلية من تهريب الأسلحة عبر الحدود الموريتانية

أبدى عدد من القرويين الماليين قلقهم من انتشار الأسلحة في المدن والقرى المالية وسهولة الحصول عليها من التجار خصوصا أولئك الذي يجلبونها من موريتانيا.

الأسلحة تنتشر في ظل لامبالاة الحكومة وعدم اهتمامها بإيقاف هذه الظاهرة، كما أنها تمر بسهولة من الحدود الموريتانية تحت سمع وبصر حرس الحدود والجمارك. هذه التجارة أصبحت تجارة مربحة حيث تباع قطعة الكلاشنكوف الواحدة بسعر يفوق سعر البقرة.
