هيئة حقوقية تطالب بإجبارية تعليم الأطفال في موريتانيا

أطلقت هيئة الساحل للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان ودعم التعليم والسلم الاجتماعي، مساء اليوم السبت، أنشطتها في العاصمة الموريتانية نواكشوط، وسط حضور نقابي وحقوقي كبير. 
  
وقال رئيس الهيئة ومؤسسها إبراهيم ولد بلال إنهم سيعملون على تطبيق قانون معطل يقضي بإجبارية التعليم الأساسي بالنسبة للأطفال في الفترة ما بين 6 سنوات و14 سنة. 
  
وأضاف ولد بلال أن تعليم الأطفال مهم لحل الكثير من الإشكالات الاجتماعية في موريتانيا، مؤكداً أنه سيطلب من المنتسبين للهيئة أن يتولوا تسجيل الأطفال المنحدرين من أسر فقيرة والتكفل بمصاريف دراستهم. 
  
وأشار ولد بلال في كلمته الافتتاحية إلى أنه سيقوم بمساءلة الجهات الرسمية عن وضعية المدارس العمومية، والتي وصفها بالسيئة. 
  
وكان ولد بلال يعد أحد أبرز الشخصيات القيادية في مبادرة انبعاث الحركة الانعتاقية "إيرا"، قبل أن ينشق عنها بسبب خلاف مع زعيمها برام ولد الداه ولد اعبيد.
