قال رئيس حزب الاتحاد من أجل الجمهورية الحاكم سيدى محمد ولد محم إن التصريحات التى أدلى بها قبل أسبوعين بشأن التمسك بالرئيس محمد ولد عبد العزيز بعد 2019 خيار لارجعة فيه، لكن الصناديق ستكون الحكم بين الأغلبية المتسمكة بالرجل والأمل الذى يمثله وبين القوى الرافضة لنفس الخيار.

وخفف ولد محم من أهمية الاحتجاج المتصاعد فى معسكر المعارضة كلما تمسك فاعل فى المشهد بالرئيس أو عبر عما تطمئن له كل القوى الحريضة على البلد واستقراره، قائلا خخفوا عليكم واستمعوا بشكل جيد مأموريتانا ليست ثلاثة أو أربعة نحن باقون فى البلد ولن نفرط فيه ولن نتخلى عن مصالح الناخبين، ومتمسكون بالرجل الذى يشكل الخيار الأسلم لموريتانيا ماقبل 2019 ومابعدها.

ودعا ولد محم سكان أترزره والقوى الفاعلة فيها إلى العمل من أجل تمرير التعديلات الدستورية وبأغلبية مريحة، قائلا إنها التحدى المطروح الآن داخل الساحة ويجب أن نكسبه بكل وضوح وثقة.
