كوسموس إينرجي تُعلن عن اكتشافات غازية جديدة في موريتانيا

أعلنت شركة "كوسموس أنجري" اليوم الأربعاء عن نتائج مشجعة لحفرها بئر غمبل-1 الاستكشافي، الموجود في شمال منطقة سين لويس دخل المياه البحرية السينغالية بمحاذاة الحدود الموريتانية.

ويقع البئر المذكور على بعد 5 كلم جنوب الحفر الاستكشافي "السلحفاة-1" (احميم) الذي أنجزته الشركة قبل أشهر داخل الأراضي الموريتانية، ويبلغ عمق ماء البحر فيه 2700 م، وقد تم حفر البئر إلى عمق 5245 م، وكشف الحفر عن وجود كمية كبيرة من الغاز بسمك قدره 101 متر (331 قدم) بنوعية جيدة، ويوجد الغاز المكتشف في موضعين احدهما في الطبقة السينومانية بسماكة 56 مترا والآخر موجود في الطبقة الألبية وبسماكة 45 متراً. كما أثبتت نتائج في بئر غمبل-1 استمرارية الحقل الغازي واتصاله بسماكة وضغط بابتين وفق النتائج التي كشفها بئر السلحفاء-1 وهو ما يشير لوجود حقل غازي واحد كبير. وعلاوة على ذلك، تعززت المؤشرات المؤكدة لوجود مخزون بنوعية ممتازة في المقطع.

 

وبهذه النتائج ترتفع التقديرات المتعلقة بالغاز في كامل المقطع إلى 17 ترليون قدم مكعب بدلا من 14 ترليون قدم مكعب سابقا.
