الفيفا ينفي تلقيه "طلبا من دول عربية لسحب استضافة كأس العالم من قطر"

نفى الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم "الفيفا" تسلم أي طلبات من دول عربية قطعت علاقتها مع قطر الشهر الماضي لسحب استضافة بطولة كأس العالم 2022 من قطر.
وكان موقع ذا لوكال السويسري قد نقل عن رئيس الفيفا جياني انفانتينو قوله إن "السعودية واليمن وموريتانيا والإمارات العربية والبحرين ومصر كتبوا خطابا جماعيا إلى فيفا يطالبوه بسحب البطولة من قطر وفقا للمادة 85 من قانون الاتحاد، التي تسمح بمثل هذا الإجراء في حالة الطوارئ".
وأضاف انفانتينو أن "الدول (الست) حذرت فيفا من مخاطر تهديد سلامة الجماهير واللاعبين في دولة قاعدة الإرهاب وقلعته" موضحا أن تلك الدول هددت بمقاطعة البطولة ما لم يستجب لمطلبهم.
ولكن متحدثا باسم الاتحاد الدولي صرح لوكالة رويترز بأن "رئيس الفيفا لم يستقبل أي خطاب كهذا وبالتالي لم تصدر منه تعليقات في هذا الأمر"
