اتفاق هام بين موريتانيا والاكواس يسمح بتنقل البضائع والاشخاص

وقعت موريتانيا والمجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب إفريقيا اتفاق شراكة بالعاصمة التوغولية لومي، على هامش المنتدى الأمريكي الإفريقي حول "النمو وفرص التنمية في إفريقيا".

 

ويشمل الاتفاق الموقع من طرف وزيرة التجارة والصناعة والسياحة الموريتانية الناها بنت مكناس، ووزير التجارة السنغالي آليون سار ممثلا عن الإيكواس، حرية تنقل الأشخاص والممتلكات.

 

وبموجب الاتفاق الموقع فإنه سيصبح بمقدور المواطنين والفاعلين الاقتصاديين الموريتانيين التنقل بحرية، كما ستصبح الحدود مفتوحة أمام البضائع الموريتانية لتجد طريقها نحو سوق غرب القارة الإفريقية.

 

وكانت القمة الأخيرة للمجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب إفريقيا التي انعقدت يونيو الماضي بالعاصمة مونروفيا قد دعت موريتانيا إلى التقدم بطلب إعادة العضوية بالمجموعة.

 

وكانت موريتانيا قد انسحبت من المجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب إفريقيا عام 2000 بدافع تركيز جهودها على اتحاد المغرب العربي، وهي تعتبر عضوا مؤسسا للإيكواس عام 1975.
