إدانة أممية لمقتل جندي موريتاني في إفريقيا الوسطى

أدان الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة انطونيو جوتيريس الهجوم الذي وقع على نقطة تفتيش تابعة لبعثة الأمم المتحدة لتحقيق الاستقرار في جمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى، وهي العملية التي أدّت إلى وفاة جندي موريتاني.

ستيفان دوجاريك المتحدث باسم جوتيريس قال إن ثلاثة جنود آخرين من قوات حفظ السلام وهم موريتانيان وزامبي أصيبوا بجروح طفيفة.

وقال دوجاريك إن عدد غير معروف من جماعة أنتي بالاكا اقتحموا نقطة تفتيش تابعة لشرطة بعثة الأمم المتحدة في بريا، في وسط البلاد. وأدان غوتيريس الهجوم وقدم تعازيه لشعب موريتانيا وحكومتها، فضلا عن زملائهم في البعثة، وتمنى الشفاء السريع للجرحى.  

فيما قال الممثل الخاص للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة في جمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى إن الأمم المتحدة ستبذل كل ما في وسعها لتقديم الجناة إلى العدالة.

ووقع الهجوم بعد ساعتين من تدخل جنود بعثة الأمم المتحدة المتكاملة المتعددة الأبعاد لتحقيق الاستقرار في جمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى لإطلاق سراح اثنين من المشردين احتجزتهم جماعة أنتي بالاكا في بريا كرهائن. ويحتل الجندي الموريتاني الرقم 14 في عدد الذين قتلوا من قوات الأمم خلال أداء مهمتهم في جمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى في عام 2017.
