الدول العربية تقرر دعم المغرب لاستضافة كأس العالم

أعلن مجلس جامعة الدول العربية تقديم الدعم اللازم، والمساندة الكاملة لترشح المغرب لاستضافة نهائيات كأس العالم لكرة القدم لسنة 2026.

وجاء هذا خلال انعقاد أعمال القمة العربية التاسعة والعشرين في مدينة الظهران شرقي السعودية، وحضرها عدد من الملوك والأمراء ورؤساء الدول والحكومات وممثلي الدول العربية.

 

ويأتي قرار مجلس الجامعة بدعم ترشيح المملكة لاستضافة نهائيات مونديال 2026 "تأكيدا على العلاقات الوثيقة والروابط العديدة التي تجمع بين الدول العربية، وحرصا على دعم هذه الروابط وتوطيدها لما فيه خيرها وصلاح أحوالها وتأمين مستقبلها وتحقيق أمانيها وآمالها"، وفق ما ذكرت وكالة المغرب العربي للأنباء.

 

يشار إلى أن عددا من الدول سبقت وأعلنت دعمها لترشيح المغرب، من بينها فرنسا والجزائر.

 

وتقدم المغرب للمرة الخامسة بترشيح لاستضافة المونديال، حيث ستتم عملية التصويت لاختيار المضيف في 13 يونيو المقبل، عشية انطلاق مونديال روسيا 2018.
