وفاة 17 شخصا مع تأكيد تفشي مرض “الإيبولا” بالكونغو

أعلنت وزارة الصحة في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية، أمس الثلاثاء، وفاة سبعة عشر شخصا بسبب تفشي وباء الإيبولا.

وأضافت الوزارة أن القتلى عانوا من أعراض الحمى النزيفية، وذلك قبل تأكيد ظهور وباء الإيبولا، في المنطقة التي التي كانو فيها.

وأكد بيان صادر عن الوزارة، أن مسؤولي الصحة المحليين، أبلغوا عن معاناة واحد وعشرين مريضا من أعراض الحمى النزفية.

وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن فرقا طبية كان قد جرى نشرها في المنطقة، أخذت خمس عينات من حالات مشتبه بها، وإنه ثبتت إصابة اثنين بسلالة من فيروس الإيبولا.

وسبق لوباء الإيبولا أن حصد العديد من الأرواح في عدد من الدول الواقعة في الغرب الإفريقي، قبل أن تتم السيطرة عليه في معظم الدول التي ظهر فيها.
