تيلرسون ينتقد القيادة الأمريكية "لإخفاء الحقيقة"

أدلى وزير الخارجية الأمريكي السابق ريكس تيلرسون بتصريحات اعتبرتها وسائل إعلام أمريكية بمثابة انتقادات ضمنية لإدارة الرئيس دونالد ترامب، وذلك لأول مرة منذ إقالته من منصبه.

وقال تيلرسون في كلمة له خلال حفل تخريج بكلية فرجينيا العسكرية إنه يلاحظ "أزمة متزايدة بالأخلاق والكرامة" في الحياة الاجتماعية.

وتابع: "إذا سعى قادتها لإخفاء الحقيقة أو إذا بدأنا كشعب بقبول الوقائع البديلة التي لا أساس لها من الصحة، فإننا جميعا كمواطنين أمريكيين في طريقنا إلى التخلي عن حريتنا".

ولم يذكر تيلرسون في كلمته، التي حذر فيها من المخاطر التي تهدد الديمقراطية الأمريكية برأيه، الرئيس ترامب بالاسم، لكن بعض وسائل الإعلام أشارت إلى أن هذه التصريحات قد تكون موجهة لترامب، علما بأنه كانت هناك تقارير عن وجود خلافات بين ترامب وتيلرسون في الفترة التي كان فيها الأخير وزيرا للخارجية.

كما يشار إلى أنها أول تصريحات علنية لتيلرسون بعد إقالته من منصب وزير الخارجية في مارس الماضي.
