تقرير الخبراء: بنك GBM ضالع في نهب إجمالي سبع ميزانيات للدولة الموريتانية

كشف تقرير الخبراء حول نشاطات بنك GBM المملوك من طرف ولد بوعماتو أن البنك " أغلق في العام 2013 وتوقفت جميع نشاطاته في خرق سافر للقانون الموريتاني"، وأكد التقرير أن توقيف نشاطات البنك من طرف مالكه جاء " على حساب مصالح المؤتمنين والعمال الذين تم تسريحهم".

كما تناول التقرير كذلك بتفصيل مدعم بالأدلة طبيعة الفساد المالي الذي تورط فيه بنك GBM في فترة حكم ولد الطائع من خلال نهب المؤسسات العمومية التي كانت تتعامل مع البنك عبر حساباتها المفتوحة فيه. وقد تناول التقرير من ضمن أمور أخرى الفترة الممتدة ما بين 1995 حتى 2007 وعمليات " النهب الممنهج للمال العالم بمشاركة رئيس الدولة"، خصوصا لشركة الإيراد والتصدير SONIMEX والشركة الموريتانية الصينية للصيد MCP وشركتي SOMELEC و SOMAGAZ. وخلص التقرير المذكور إلى أن عمليات نهب المال العام التي استفاد منها ولد بوعماتو تفوق بكثير إجمالي سبع ميزانيات للدولة الموريتانية بما فيها مداخيل الدعم الخارجي.
