فضيحة "أطباء بلا حدود".. الدواء مقابل الجنس في إفريقيا

تورط موظفون بمنظمة "أطباء بلا حدود" في استغلال عاهرات محليات أثناء عملهم في أفريقيا، بما في ذلك عن طريق مقايضة أدوية بممارسة الجنس، حسبما أفادت قناة "بي بي سي".

ونقلت القناة عن مجموعة من الموظفات السابقات في المنظمة التي تعد أحد أكبر وكالات المساعدات الأجنبية في العالم، أن هذه التصرفات كانت منتشرة انتشارا واسعا، وإن كانت الاتهامات موجهة لموظفين في الدعم اللوجستي وليس أطباء أو ممرضات.

وقالت موظفة سابقة، عملت في مكتب "أطباء بلا حدود" في لندن، إنها رأت أحد كبار الموظفين وهو يحضر فتيات إلى مقر إقامة المنظمة أثناء نشر طاقهما في كينيا.

وأضافت أن "الفتيات كن صغيرات للغاية، وكان يشيع أنهن من البغايا المحليات"، وأنه كان معروفا "ضمنيا" أنهن يأتين لممارسة الجنس.

وقالت إن "زميلا لي، كان يقيم في مقر الإقامة نفسه لفترة طويلة، شعر بأن هذا السلوك يحدث بصورة منتظمة".

وقالت أخرى إنهن شعرن بعدم القدرة على تحدي هذا الرجل "لأنه كان موظفا كبيرا" في منظمة "أطباء بلا حدود".

وأضافت: "شعرت، مع مجموعة من الزملاء القدامى، بأن هناك بالتأكيد سوء استغلال للمنصب. كان هناك لفترة طويلة، وحصل على امتيازات من وضعه كموظف مساعدات غربي".

ووفقا لموظفة عملت في رعاية مرضى نقص المناعة المكتسبة في أفريقيا الوسطى، فإن استغلال البغايا المحليين كان أمرا "واسع الانتشار".

وذكرت أنه "كان هناك زميل يحضر فتيات إلى المجمع الذي كان يقيم فيه طاقم "أطباء بلا حدود"، وتابعت: "كان واضحا أنها عاهرة، لكنه قال إنها رفيقته وإنها ستقضي معه وقتا".

وأضافت: "شاهدت أحد زملائي، وكان صغيرا في السن، يدخل إلى المرحاض مع إحدى العاهرات المحليات".

واستطردت: "تعرفت إلى هذه العاهرة كي أتحدث معها، فقد كانت تعمل في إحدى الحانات. وأخبرتني ذات مرة أنها مارست الجنس معه وأنه دفع لها مقابل ذلك".

قالت مبلّغة أخرى، إن زميلا بارزا قال لها إن "مقايضة الأدوية مع أولئك الفتيات في ليبيريا أمر بسيط للغاية".

وأضافت: "كان يقول لي إن كثيرا من الشابات اللائي فقدن آباءهن في أزمة مرض إيبولا سيفعلن أي تصرف جنسي لمبادلته مقابل الأدوية".

وقالت إنه تباهى ذات مرة بذلك أمام ثلاثة أو أربعة أشخاص ممن عملوا في ليبيريا وأمامها بشكل مباشر.

وقالت المبلغة عن المخالفات إن موظفين في "أطباء بلا حدود" تحرشوا جنسيا، خلال مناسبات أخرى، بموظفات في منظمات أخرى غير حكومية.

وتحدثت الموظفات عن المخالفات المزعومة دون ذكر أسمائهن خوفا من وضعهن على القائمة السوداء للمنظمات الأجنبية التي يمكن أن يكون ثمة تواصل بين موظفيهم.

وذكرت "بي بي سي" أن فريقها لم يستطع التأكد من صحة هذه المزاعم.

بدورها، قالت منظمة "أطباء بلا حدود" إنها في حاجة إلى مزيد من المعلومات للتحقيق في القضية.

في فبراير الماضي، في أعقاب مزاعم ضد موظفين في منظمة أوكسفام باستئجار عاهرات أثناء عملهم في الخارج، اعترفت "أطباء بلا حدود" أنها طردت موظفين بسبب التحرش الجنسي العام الماضي.
