الأمم المتحدة تطالب بالافراج عن السيناتور ولد غدة

أكدت مجموعة العمل ضد الحبس التحكمي التابعة للأمم المتحدة أنه بناء على مراسلاتها مع الحكومة الموريتانية فإنه تعلن "حرمان محمد ولد غده من حريته بشكل تعسفي"، مؤكدة أن الإجراء المناسب "هو إطلاق سراحه والتعويض له، والتعهد بعدم تكرار ذلك طبقا للقوانين الدولية، وضمان توفير العلاج الضروري لحالته الصحية".

وحثت مجموعة العمل ضد الحبس التحكمي الحكومة الموريتانية على "إجراء تحقيق كامل ومستقل في حرمان محمد بشكل تعسفي من حريته، واتخاذ الإجراءات الضرورية ضد المسؤولين عن تلك الانتهاكات القانونية".

وطالب مجموعة العمل الحكومة الموريتانية في رسالة وجهتها لها وحصلت الأخبار على نسخة منها "بأخذ الضرورية وبدون تأخير لتسوية مشكلة محمد ولد غده، وذلك بما يتطابق مع النظم الدولية، وخاصة المعاهدة الدولية الخاصة بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية، وكذا الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان".

وقالت المجموعة إنها أرسلت رسالة للحكومة الموريتانية يوم 19 يناير 2018 بشأن قضية ولد غده، وإن الحكومة ردت عليهم برسالة يوم 12 مارس 2018، ووصفت فيها قضية ولد غده بأنها "قضية مدنية وسياسية"، فيما أكدت مجموعة العمل أن حرمان ولد غده من حريته مخالف للمواد 19 و 20 من الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان، وللمواد 9 و 19 و21 و 22 و 25 و26 من المعاهدة الدولية الخاصة بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية والمندرجة تحت الفئتين 1 و 2".

وذكرت مجموعة العمل ضد الحبس التحكمي بأنها "وطبقا لآليات عملها، فإن مجموعة العمل تحيل إشعاراتها لمصدر الطلب 48 ساعة بعد إرسالها للحكومة المعنية".
